Tonight is the Oscars. I have always loved tuning in to see the glamorous couples and the great dresses. Then when we got married I started making PD watch with me. We both DO love a good movie or at least a good story, so it wasn't that hard a sell.
So even though PD goes into the office EVERY Sunday night to catch up on paperwork, he DOES stay home for the Oscars and the Emmys.
We fill out these ballots and compete. I almost always win, but not exclusively.
We are always conflicted between what we think will win and what we want to see win.

Have you seen Slumdog Millionare? I hear that it is so good. I'm not big on award shows, so who won? You made me laugh out loud about getting fat!
Hey there - I came over from Kelli's place - I've never seen a ballot that you could do at home before. What a great idea - I'll have to try that next time!
I blew off watching the ceremony, but was so happy to hear that Slumdog won best picture and director. It's nice when the academy gets things RIGHT once in a while, huh??
