I have been so excited because PK1 has been stealing the chapter books that we read aloud together and reading them on her own. My pride was tempered when I returned home from a haircut to find this message she left me on her father's letterhead.

Just so you know....that's completely typical. Meaning, I believe that kids read and spell phonetically. I could be totally wrong...but I'm just saying :)
Ummm, I think her handwriting is fab!
I also think she's doing great, but what is that supposed to spell? Haha....
I'm jealous of your organization at picking up those books from the library!
I should have made it clear that the note said, "Done," meaning she had finished the book!
